Professional experience

John Fenemore is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Group at Lakatos, Köves and Partners. John is an English and Hungarian qualified banking lawyer with wide experience of cross-border transactions throughout the region. He has expertise in trade finance, real estate finance, margin lending, restructuring, asset finance, sovereign and quasi-sovereign lending transactions.

John is a member of the Hungarian Bar Association, the Law Societes of England and Ireland, the IBA and INSOL.

Before rejoining LKT in 2016, John spent 14 years in the banking group of Clifford Chance in London and Bucharest. John was awarded a Diploma in Aviation Leasing & Finance by the Law Society in Ireland in 2019. John is ranked by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and is a Highly Regarded lawyer according to IFLR1000.
