At leading Hungarian Law Firm Lakatos, Köves and Partners Richard Lock takes over as Senior Partner

Péter Lakatos, managing partner, said “Péter Köves has been one of the founding and the senior partner of our firm since its establishment, at the time of our separation from Clifford Chance in 2009 and now becomes Partner Emeritus and Honorary Senior Partner and Richard Lock steps up to become Senior Partner. Péter has contributed significantly to the growth and development of our firm as a leading independent internationally focused firm in Hungary. Using his extensive experience and connections built up for many years in particular in his roles at the IBA and CCBE. Richard, having been in Hungary for over 30 years, with Clifford Chance and then as one of the founding partners of Lakatos, Köves and Partners, has played a central role in the development of our firm and in particular in developing and nurturing our firm’s relationships with law firms around the world.”
