LKT advised Karlovarské mineralní vodi a.s. (“KMV”) on the acquisition of distribution rights for Pepsi Co products in Hungary and all distribution related assets. The transaction formed a part of the regional (Czech, Slovakia, Hungary) acquisition by KMV of Pepsi Co’s distribution activities.
KMV has significantly extended its footprint in the CEE region in recent years. LKT advised on the acquisition of two leading Hungarian mineral water brands, Kékkúti and Szentkirályi, and followed that by advising on this latest acquisition.
The KMV Group has become the largest producer of mineral and spring water in Central Europe, they export their products to 20 countries.
