LKT Announces Promotion of Péter Berethalmi to Partner in Corporate and M&A Group

LKT is pleased to announce the promotion of Péter Berethalmi to Partner within our Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group. 

Péter Berethalmi joined LKT in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role as managing partner at Nagy & Trócsányi, a leading independent Hungarian law firm. Over the years, Péter has garnered extensive expertise in Corporate, M&A, Employment, Real Estate and Construction law, as well as Regulatory matters. His diverse experience in managing both domestic and cross-border transactions has made him a valuable asset to our team and our clients.

Péter is known for his strategic insight and practical approach, advising corporate clients on their day-to-day operations and complex legal challenges. His ability to navigate the intricacies of various legal fields ensures that our clients receive comprehensive and effective counsel.

Péter graduated from the Faculty of Law of József Attila University in 1994 and further enhanced his legal qualifications with a Postgraduate Diploma in Laws degree from the University of London International Programmes in 2010. In addition to his native Hungarian, he is fluent in English 

Péter's commitment to the legal profession extends beyond his client work. He is an active member of the Supervisory Board of the Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (MAGE), where he contributes to the advancement of the industry through his legal expertise.
