Dr. Viktória Szilágyi has been promoted to Partner of LKT as of 1 April, 2024. Having 20 years of practice on both local and international transactions on the full range of corporate law issues, including international M&A transactions and general commercial law advice to some of the larger foreign corporates active in Hungary, she also has extensive experience in the renewable energy, real estate and life sciences sectors and participated in several greenfield development projects.
Viktória is Senior Vice Chair of the International Bar Association’s European Regional Forum and Liaison Officer of the International Bar Association’s Rule of Law Forum. As senior officer of the IBA’s European Regional Forum she regularly consults the Diversity and Inclusion Working Party of the European Regional Forum with a clear aim to advocate for women’s participation in the legal industry. Viktória also participates in the Women Lawyers Network of Interlaw and has recently joined the Women in Energy network.
Viktória is Consultant on corporate law matters at the Lawyer’s Academy organized by the Budapest Bar Association and is a Member of the Professional Committee of the Hungarian Bar Association and frequently speaks at IBA and other law firm meetings and forums. Viktória is a member of LKT’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
